Privacy Policy

The short version

Your documents never leave your device. PDFSignatureValidator validates signed PDFs entirely inside your web browser. We do not upload, receive, store, or log the contents of any file you validate. There is no server-side document processing.

Documents you validate

When you select or drop a PDF, the file is read into your browser's memory and processed locally using the WebCrypto API. It is discarded when you close or reload the page. We have no ability to see, retain, or recover any document you validate.

Information we do collect

We collect only standard, anonymous usage analytics to understand how many people use the site and which pages are popular. This includes information such as your approximate region, device type, browser, and the pages you visit, but never the contents of your documents.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. These cookies collect aggregate, anonymised usage data. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
