Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PDFSignatureValidator ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
The Service is a free tool that inspects digital signatures in PDF files entirely within your web browser and presents an informational report. It does not upload your files to any server.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that every validation result is complete or correct. Signature validation depends on the structure of the PDF, the certificate authorities involved, and the availability of trusted root certificates. A result from this tool is not a legal certification of a document's authenticity.
4. Not legal or professional advice
Results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. For legally significant decisions, consult a qualified professional and the issuing authority.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate the rights of others.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFSignatureValidator and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
